About The Position

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Hospitality Banquet Staff. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of special events at recreational facilities, hotels, and resorts by providing exceptional service to guests and assisting with event setup, service, and cleanup. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering memorable experiences to guests. Responsibilities: Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations. Greet guests upon arrival, assist with seating arrangements, and provide directions and information about event activities. Serve food and beverages to guests during events, ensuring prompt and courteous service. Monitor and replenish food and beverage stations, buffets, and bars to maintain presentation and quality standards. Clear tables, remove empty plates and glassware, and reset tables for the next course or event segment. Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and serving equipment as needed. Coordinate with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient event operations. Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional and timely manner. Follow all safety, quality standards and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Assist with event breakdown and cleanup, including removing decorations, clearing tables, and storing equipment. Must be able to set tables to specifications, carry trays, and have excellent customer service experience. Qualifications

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in hospitality, banquet service, or customer service preferred but not required.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, lift a minimum of 50lbs, and carry objects for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.
  • Must have current Food Handler and TABC certifications and the ability to keep them up to date.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous serving experience in a four-star/four-diamond hotel or resort is preferred.
