About The Position

At Securitas, on-site security officers are the foundation of our organization. Our officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments to help safeguard people, property, and information. We are searching for an experienced Hospitality Security Officer to join our Hospitality Team. Our team hosts thousands of visitors and private events annually at one of Downtown Seattle's most iconic landmarks. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
2+ years of professional experience in customer service and security required.
Standard computer / technology skills needed.
Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

Customer Service background preferred.
Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!!

Responsibilities

Greet, orient, and assist visitors and community members and clients.
Deploy stanchions, set up signage, and perform other duties as assigned.
Provide closing reminders to all visitors and community members and conduct floor patrols to secure the building for closing.
Escort un-badged staff and non-employees on-site.
Work on projects to be completed during down times.
Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment on events and daily operations.
Inspect premises to assess the need for repairs, badge reader, lighting outages, and report any issues to the appropriate teams.
Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
Provide detailed written reports.
Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
