Overview A freestanding ER in Tyler, TX is seeking a Hospitality Runner/Barista to join their team. The Hospitality Runner/Barista will strive to provide proficient, competent care while maintaining the patient’s sense of comfort and dignity.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience: demonstrated ability in customer service practice related to direct patient care in a high volume, high stress environment
  • Critical thinking skills: ability to work autonomously and make efficient use of time and resources
  • Ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians
  • Flexibility to meet scheduling demands of department
  • High School Graduate/Equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Barista Experience (not required, but it is a plus) Training is provided

Responsibilities

  • Offering the coffee menu to all Lobby patients and during down time to the hall patients.
  • Sending inventory of the coffee cart to the Hospitality Supervisor at the end of each shift
  • Documenting purchases and time spent running errands accurately to immediate supervisor
  • Ordering supplies as directed
  • Engaging with all patients, visitors and staff and providing a warm welcome; prepare and deliver refreshments
  • Prioritizing patient needs throughout the duration of their stay to include but not limited to answering questions and concerns; resolving any issues that may arise; running errands and providing meals
  • Cleaning and organizing Hospitality Department stockrooms and storage areas
  • Returning all resources to proper place and taking care of all resources
