We are an organization that wants to empower and support its community by offering various opportunities to achieve career goals The Hospitality Manager for CFC Properties is responsible for overall management of the historic Grant Street Inn, a continuous 24/7 operation. Overall operations include: budget, advertising/sales, purchasing of supplies & equipment, negotiate rates, and employee relations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background
  • 3-5 years hotel management experience
  • 2-4 years supervisory and leadership experience
  • Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
  • Extremely strong aptitude within the hospitality/customer service industry
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new technical subject matter that may be unrelated to area of formal training
  • Maintain responsibility for uninterrupted, year‑round operations, with availability to support 24/7 business needs

Responsibilities

  • Manage, lead and review performance of direct reports, including time off and timesheet management
  • Review / approve documentation, expense reports, vendor invoices, etc.
  • Implement policies, programs and directives of company leadership
  • Identify training needs for employees; Develop/deliver training as required
  • Oversee GSI marketing, including reputation management, PMS availability, and OTA booking site management, including continual rate comparison and management
  • Management of CoStar / STR reporting
  • Oversee/update accounting reports including hotel daily sales, IU direct bill sales, and intercompany sales spreadsheets
  • Set and achieve challenging, realistic goals for growth and profitability in regard to occupancy, ADR, and RevPar
  • Work with Leadership on capital improvement projects
  • Foster and maintain a workplace culture respectful and supportive of individual differences in accordance with Cook Group core values
