About The Position

Position Summary: The Hospitality Lead is the face of the shift, responsible for leading Front-of-House (FOH) operations and setting the gold standard for hospitality at Truce. This is a hands-on, high-energy leadership role. You aren't just managing from the sidelines; you are in the thick of the rush, driving the pace, and ensuring every guest receives exceptional service, drinks, and consistency. As a Lead, you are responsible for real-time coaching, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and protecting the Truce brand promise: chef-driven, made-from-scratch food served with speed and warmth. Qualifications & Experience: To step into a Hospitality Lead role at a premium concept like Truce, you must possess a blend of operational excellence and a guest-first intuition. We are looking for a leader who can maintain our high standards of service while coaching a team to do the same.

Requirements

  • Service Mastery: 2–4 years of experience in high-end or premium casual service. You must be an expert in all front-of-house flows (POS systems, guest seating, and tableside service).
  • High-Volume Excellence: Experience in a fast-paced environment (100+ covers per shift) is essential to prove you can manage the floor and maintain guest flow during peak hours.
  • Health & Wellness Literacy: Since Truce emphasizes all-natural ingredients and zero seed oils, you should have a passion for, or knowledge of, nutrition and dietary lifestyles to better assist our guests.
  • Supervisory Foundation: At least 1 year of experience in a leadership capacity (such as a Shift Lead, Head Server, or Lead Barista).
  • Coaching Ability: Proven experience training team members on service etiquette, brand storytelling, and hospitality standards.
  • The Host Mindset: The ability to resolve guest complaints and internal team conflicts with grace, empathy, and professional poise.
  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Minimum Age: Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Possession of valid Server Permit (ABC Card).
  • Possession of valid ServSafe Food Handler or Manager Certification.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
