About The Position

Learn the Food and Beverage operations. Work directly with the Food & Beverage department managers to understand all aspects of Amusement Park F & B operations including planning, concessions, procurement, staffing, special events and more.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be 18 years old.
  • The ideal candidate would be working toward or have a degree in Hospitality or Business Management.
  • Must have excellent cash handling and customer service skills.
  • Must possess oral and written English skills and must be able to communicate with Guests and other Team Members effectively.
  • Must be detail orientated with the ability to problem-solve and overcome difficult or challenging situations.
  • Ability to foresee changes in product needs and levels during peak and slow times.
  • Must work well in fast paced, high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to work in a variety of different weather conditions.
  • Available to work overtime.
  • Available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Attention to detail.
  • All internship offers contingent on passing a criminal, drug, alcohol, and social security background check.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure successful operation of Food & Beverage department while increasing revenues and lowering labor costs and costs of sales.
  • Serves as a role model for employees through teamwork support, attention to detail, quality control and interactions with guests and Team Members.
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Participate in training and development of Food and Beverage Team Members.
  • Maintain proper attendance and promptness and meet all grooming guidelines.
  • May have to counsel, track, and discipline Team Members according to the company policy.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment at all times.
  • Properly operate cash register or cash apron in accordance with all cash handling procedures.
  • Ensure all paperwork is properly completed and turned in on time including, but not limited to scheduling, sign in sheets, incident reports, temperature logs, receiving sheets, and inventory sheets.
  • May be required to perform Area Supervisor, Supervisor, and Team Member duties as staffing and park attendance dictates.
  • Resolve any Guest concerns that may arise in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
