The Hospitality Internship - Culinary is an up to twelve-month internship that immerses qualified candidates within the culinary arts field and gives them the opportunity to enhance their education, establish meaningful contacts, improve the quality of their work product through comprehensive feedback, and aspire to a rewarding career in the foodservice industry. Through specialized work plan rotations, each intern will gain invaluable culinary experience. Work course exposure includes but not limited to the following areas: general kitchen operations, food preparation/production, menu costing, problem resolution, teamwork, communication, and leadership. During the program, interns will receive training and mentorship from industry leaders as they experience all aspects of the kitchen. Hospitality culinary interns will be expected to not only learn various operations, but to develop and begin to lead others within those various areas.
