About The Position

Southeast Texas HR is seeking a dependable Hospitality Food Service Assistant to join our team in the hospital and healthcare industry. This is a temp to hire position at an area hospital. You will be working between the hours of 6:00am - 6:00 pm, and must be available to work weekends and holidays. Pay will be $13.80 per hour.

As our Hospitality Food Service Assistant your duties will include but not be limited to the following:

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of Food Service experience.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 20 pounds.
• Ability to work from 6am-6pm.
• Must be able to hear adequately and communicate verbally with patients.
• Must be able to obtain proof of immunization records.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Pass all pre-employment screening including background screen and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Taking and placing patient meals in accordance to their care plan.
• Assemble and deliver patient meals.
• Interact with patients to ensure their needs are met.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Adhere to all food safety/sanitation policies.
• Maintain equipment.
