About The Position

Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC), with a mission to honor and serve older adults as an expression of Christ’s love, does so with eight continuing-care retirement communities in Texas. Affiliated with MRC and located in Texarkana, Cornerstone Retirement Community, is a leader in continuing care retirement living offering independent living, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing and rehabilitation, and home health. We are hiring for Hospitality Companions in our Home Health Department. We are seeking talented, compassionate and dependable staff who are committed to providing top notch care to our Elders. Administers non-medical services of elders and performs routine tasks in the care of elders, helping them adapt to changes that may occur due to illness and normal processes of aging.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent is desired
Models MRC ICARE Values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence
Models a service attitude toward others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to residents, families, and coworkers.
Able to demonstrate sincere compassion.

Nice To Haves

Nursing-related experience preferred but not related.
