Requirements

2 years of hospitality and serving experience, customer service focus, resort/golf setting is a plus.
Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and upselling.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage items, including menu offerings.
Physical ability to carry trays, navigate outdoor environments, and stand for extended periods.
Food, alcohol, and safety certifications under FL requirements.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Proven organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of performing the role in a busy work environment.
Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines.
Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Provides on-course food and beverage service to golfers.
Provide food and beverage service to golfers on the course in accordance with the food and drink menu and company quality standards.
Stocking carts with necessary food & beverage products.
Requisition supplies from kitchen and storeroom and ensure proper transfer and storage.
Ensure that required income, cost control, and inventory procedures are consistently used.
Comply with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire, and other laws and requirements.
Ensure that the beverage cart is operating properly.
Report malfunctions to leadership as appropriate.
Work primarily outdoors in the beverage cart, which may include patio, bay side, and on-course service.
Engage with guests in a friendly and attentive manner, providing recommendations, taking orders, and ensuring prompt service.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the proper storage and rotation of beverages, glassware, and supplies.
Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments, giving change, and closing tabs.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
Speak with others using clear and professional language.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, and complete safety training and certifications.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
Engage in a positive guest focused environment.
