About Highland Palms Healthcare Center Founded in 1968 and dedicated in loving memory of Helen Lamb Frost, Highland Palms Healthcare Center is a 99-bed skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Highland, California. We specialize in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, providing 24-hour personalized skilled nursing services. Our mission is to uphold high medical integrity, promote team spirit, and create a warm, homelike environment for our residents and their families.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Patience, empathy, and a positive, professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, activities, and outings
- Provide companionship and supervision as a patient sitter
- Assist residents with mobility and ensure safety during transport
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and residents’ families
- Serve as a friendly, reassuring presence throughout the day
