The salary for this position is $257,000 annually, based on a full-time schedule. Compensation is prorated for part-time roles. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, and internal equity. Job Summary Hospitalist Opportunity- Newton-Wellesley Hospital Qualifications About Us: Newton-Wellesley Hospital (NWH), a member of Mass General Brigham , is a full-service community teaching hospital located in Newton, Massachusetts , just outside of Boston . We are dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. Position Overview: We are seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians to join our Hospital Medicine team .

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine .
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts .
  • Strong clinical and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior hospitalist experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to adult inpatients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including specialists, nurses, and case managers, to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Participate in admissions, discharges, and daily patient management .
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and consulting physicians.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
