Hospitalist We are seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to work with a growing inpatient service at a vibrant 500-bed safety-net community hospital in Everett, Washington, about 30 miles north of Seattle. The team is composed of 80+ providers. The hospital has a robust multidisciplinary staff that supports all inpatient work, including subspecialists, pharmacists, social workers, respiratory and physical therapists, palliative care, etc. A full time position enjoys a hospitalist schedule of 14-17 shifts per month, with no more than 3 night shifts per year.  The average daily census ranges between 14-18 patients per shift. The Everett community is socio-economically diverse, and the successful applicant would have a lively curiosity about people from different backgrounds and desire to understand patients and their families’ communities. The Medical Hospitalist Team is very well-supported with strong relationships with its ICU, ER, subspecialists and palliative care colleagues. This community hospital has deep ties to both the University of Washington with a long tradition of teaching medical students as well as the Washington State University, now serving as a principal training site for both the internal medicine residency program and third-year Medicine clerks.
