About The Position
The Nurse Practitioner is a Licensed Independent Practitioner, responsible for providing primary care to patients, as an independent healthcare provider working with a physician collaborator. Scope of practice and delineation of NP privileges are credentialed and approved by the Chief of Medicine, Chairman of the Credentials Committee, Medical Executive Committee, Hospital CEO, and Executive Board of AHMC. Alice Hyde Medical Center is part of The University of Vermont Health Network, a five-hospital network serving patients and their families in Northern New York and Vermont.
