Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Eligible for New York State medical licensure
Commitment to community-based care and patient-centered medicine
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality inpatient care to adult patients
Manage admissions, discharges, and daily patient care with an emphasis on continuity and communication
Collaborate closely with nursing, case management, emergency medicine, and specialty services
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, clinical standards, and best practices
For nocturnists: provide overnight admissions and cross-coverage with appropriate backup and support
