Key responsibilities include coordinating patient care logistics, managing admissions and outpatient procedures, addressing patient complaints, providing service recovery, and ensuring care adheres to a patient and family-centered model. The supervisor is also tasked with maintaining efficient, economically responsible, and quality patient care staffing levels, maximizing patient flow, and acting as an onsite administrative representative in the absence of hospital administrators. The position requires in-depth knowledge of departmental and organizational policies, as well as state and federal regulations, and demands performance that consistently supports the organization's mission and values.
