About The Position

We are seeking dedicated and professional Hospital Security Officers to support a healthcare environment. In this role, you will help ensure the safety of patients, staff, visitors, and property while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting.
Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
No experience necessary! If you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.

Requirements

• Availability to work 2nd shift or overnight schedules
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in stressful situations
• Must be dependable and customer-service oriented
• Previous security experience is helpful but not required
• Training provided for all new hires

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol hospital grounds, units, and entrances
• Provide assistance and directions to patients, visitors, and staff
• Respond to security incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations
• Enforce hospital policies and maintain a safe environment
• Complete incident reports and maintain detailed activity logs
• Work collaboratively with hospital teams and, when necessary, law enforcement
