The Manager, Hospital Relations and Medical Education, will build and manage meaningful partnerships under OrthoCarolina’s hospital co-management and physician call agreements . In addition, this role will support the organization’s physician medical education administration .
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years management level experience in healthcare or related field
- Operational experience within complex healthcare environments, including strategic planning and financial oversight
- Proven track record of providing thoughtful, strategic, collaborative and effective executive leadership with measurable results
- Clear, concise communicator with experience tailoring messages to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to present complex information to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Highly skilled and effective at implementation and follow-through
- Develops, tracks, and oversees facility co-management metrics
- Visionary and strategic thinking skills- great at connecting the dots and seeing patterns within systems and partnerships
- Knowledge and familiarity of the region and networks
Responsibilities
- Manage OrthoCarolina’s service line management/hospital co-management programs
- Direct multiple monthly co-management Steering Committee and subcommittee meetings, these can be virtual or on-site at the hospital facility. Major components of co-management meetings include the following: d evelop meeting agenda and presentation, u pdate and distribute Facility Co-Management Metric Dashboard , c oordinate committee action plans , d rive discussion on future metrics .
- Supervise other team members who will manage individual service line management/hospital co-management programs.
- Support OrthoCarolina’s co-management and hospital facility call invoices, payments, and distributions to OC and non-OC physicians
- Administrative support of OrthoCarolina’s physician graduate medical education programs, including supporting the OrthoCarolina Corporate Fellowship Orientation program
