The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Public Health and Safety Division in Helena. This position provides statewide leadership and direction for the Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP), ensuring compliance with the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) Cooperative Agreement and alignment with state and federal preparedness requirements. The HPP Supervisor oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies that strengthen health care system readiness and build capabilities across hospitals, Montana’s four Health Care Coalitions (HCCs), and other Emergency Support Function 8 (ESF8) partners. The position is responsible for program planning, grant and budget administration, coordination of emergency preparedness and response activities, and ongoing collaboration with local, tribal, regional, and state agencies. Additionally, the supervisor manages program staff and ensures effective delivery of core functions including health care system surge planning, medical countermeasure and information management support, and other statewide emergency preparedness initiatives.
