About The Position

The General X-Ray Machine Operator performs a limited scope of diagnostic X-Ray procedures to include Chest/Abdomen, Extremity, Skull-Sinuses, Spine only. Duties, both professional and non-clinical, performed consistent with optimal image quality. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum EducationHigh School Diploma
• Certification/Licensure: Valid State of Ohio GXMO license in the following modules required at the time of hire: Chest/Abdomen, Extremity, Skull-Sinuses, Spine and Pediatric.
• Minimum Work ExperienceCompletion of the first year of a Radiographic technology program.
• Required Licenses[Ohio, United States] OtherBasic Life Support
• Required SkillsEffective communication techniquesRadiation Safety principles, Xray positioning.
