About The Position

The General X-Ray Machine Operator performs a limited scope of diagnostic X-Ray procedures to include Chest/Abdomen, Extremity, Skull-Sinuses, Spine only. Duties, both professional and non-clinical, performed consistent with optimal image quality. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Valid State of Ohio GXMO license in the following modules required at the time of hire: Chest/Abdomen, Extremity, Skull-Sinuses, Spine and Pediatric.
• Completion of the first year of a Radiographic technology program.
• Basic Life Support
• Effective communication techniques
• Radiation Safety principles
• Xray positioning

Responsibilities

• Performs duties, both professional and non-clinical, consistent with optimal image quality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
