Hospice Volunteer Manager

Crossroads Hospice & Palliative CareGreen, OH

About The Position

The final days of a person's life shouldn't be measured by what's missing, but by what's possible when the right people show up at the right time. At Crossroads, we understand that exceptional hospice care requires more than clinical expertise. It demands a community willing to give their time, presence, and heart to patients and families navigating one of life's most difficult passages. We create these communities, building bridges between people who want to make a difference and patients who need someone to simply be there. The Volunteer Manager ensures every patient who needs volunteer support receives it. You recruit people who understand this work matters, train them to provide real care, and match them with patients whose lives they'll directly touch. Your planning and management determine whether volunteers become a consistent presence in patient care or remain just a good idea. You handle everything from compliance requirements to volunteer schedules, making sure dozens of patients experience companionship, families find relief, and volunteers see the impact of their commitment.
