We are currently seeking a Hospice Spiritual Care Counselor in the Irvine area who shares our passion for providing dignified, compassionate end-of-life care. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Divinity, Theology or alike studies required
  • This role requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record as a condition of employment.
  • Associates must comply with all state and federal driving regulations
  • Associates in roles requiring driving are responsible for maintaining a valid and active driver’s license. Failure to maintain a valid license may result in reassignment, suspension, or termination in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to patient’s location
  • Must clear a criminal background check, physical and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Available to patients and their families for regular and emergency visits
  • Interprets patient and family needs, both spiritually and emotionally
  • Uses his/herself in response to discover needs by developing a relationship which is supportive to the patient and their families
  • In this position you will work closely with the interdisciplinary team and provide spiritual counseling and crisis intervention in order to adequately address the psychosocial needs of hospice patients and their families
