Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Hospice & Palliative Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Medford & Portland, OR Service Setting: - Fac 1: Outpatient/Telehealth - Fac 2: Telehealth Only Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: Jan 16, 2026 - Ongoing Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Shift Schedule: Mon -Fri; 8a -5p Call Schedule: Shared Call - 4 to 5 nights/month - 1 weekend/month Call Type: Beeper Types of calls: - IDT - Consultation and med consults - Telehealth visits, CTIs Call Response Time: 20 -30 mins Patient Demographics: 99% Adult; 1% Geriatric Patient Volume: 85 -100 No of Admissions: 3 -10 Support Staff: - 1 APP, 4 -10 RNs, CNAs - CHs, MSWs, Clinical Managers (RNs) EMR: Epic Other Info: - Weeknight calls are variable - sometimes may have 0 admits and 1 -2 symptom calls, sometime 4 -5 admits come after 5pm and multiple calls on complex patients during the night for crisis visits or GIP admits. Requirements
- Active OR or WA License or IMLC
- BC/BE (If BE, within 5 years of residency)
- BLS
- DEA
- FM, IM highly prefer they are in Hospice (if FM or IM, they MUST have ample experience in hospice work)
