Hospice Executive Director

About The Position

In coordination with corporate leadership, you will oversee overall branch performance—operations, quality, compliance, staffing, budgets, growth, and culture—with direct accountability for results.

Requirements

  • Must have hospice experience (required).
  • Must be local to Cleveland with deep local market knowledge and established contacts/relationships.
  • 3+ years hospice operations management (minimum).
  • Proven budget responsibility: budget development + ongoing monitoring.
  • Broad knowledge of federal/state regulations and hospice administration.

Responsibilities

  • Full P&L / budget ownership: build, manage, and monitor branch budget and performance.
  • Lead day-to-day hospice operations, staffing, hiring, retention, and team development.
  • Drive quality outcomes, survey readiness, and compliance with all federal/state hospice regulations.
  • Partner with local referral sources and community stakeholders to support census growth.
  • Ensure strong execution across admissions, patient care operations, and KPI performance.
