About The Position

This is a key leadership role responsible for the overall direction of hospice services, including operations, compliance, staffing, quality, patient care delivery, and performance against business objectives. We are looking for a strong hospice operator who can lead from the front, build and retain a solid team, maintain compliance, and drive disciplined execution across the branch.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required
  • Minimum 3+ years of hospice management experience
  • Must meet applicable Georgia requirements for hospice administrator qualifications
  • Local candidate, with acute local hospice market knowledge & connections preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in nursing preferred
  • RN a plus, but not required if otherwise qualified under Georgia hospice administrator requirements

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospice program
  • Lead branch performance across operations, staffing, compliance, service delivery, and quality outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation requirements
  • Hire, develop, and retain qualified hospice personnel
  • Oversee staff orientation, training, competency, and ongoing development
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and support interdisciplinary team coordination
  • Monitor operational performance, service utilization, and progress toward strategic goals
  • Ensure strong communication across staff, leadership, patients, families, and referral partners
  • Oversee policies, procedures, and standards of care to support high-quality hospice services
