Requirements

  • Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania
  • Reliable transportation and a heart for hospice care
  • Licensed or registered in the state in which currently practices
  • Must pass a criminal background check & MVR check.
  • Completed health statements acknowledging the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Valid state drivers license.
  • Proof of current automobile insurance.
  • TB testing per agency policy
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate from an approved training and competency course.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and comfort to hospice patients in Lebanon County and surrounding areas
  • Travel within a defined territory with mileage reimbursed
  • Work closely with a supportive interdisciplinary team
  • Maintains the agency's mission, philosophy, and core values.
  • Ensures compliance with agency policies and procedures regarding operations/processes, including but not limited to those regarding patient care, patient complaints, incidents, safety, and emergency management.
  • Always maintains patient confidentiality, including all HIPAA regulations.
