About The Position
The Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate personal care and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses in homes or care facilities. Works under the supervision of a Client Care Mangers to promote comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
Requirements
- Active state CNA certification.
- Reliable transportation for home visits.
- 1 year of Hospice or home care experience
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care: bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, feeding.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and comfort measures.
- Take and report vital signs and changes in patient status.
- Maintain clean, safe environments and follow infection control practices.
- Offer emotional support to patients and families.
- Document care and communicate with the RN and care team.
