About The Position

Are you a results-driven professional with experience in Hospice and/or Home Health business development? Providence at Home is seeking a proactive Hospice and Home Health Sales and Marketing Representative to expand our referral network, grow our patient census, and help shape the future of quality hospice and home healthcare for the Elmhurst, IL and Cook and DuPage County, IL areas. This is not just a sales position; join a team of professionals that make a difference! The Hospice and Home Health Sales and Marketing Representative is responsible for growing business for the Home Health, Hospice and Palliative divisions, establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns. The Home Healthcare Sales and Marketing Representative reports to the V.P. of HCBS.

Requirements

  • At least (3) years' experience in healthcare, with a strong background in Hospice and/or Home Health preferred.
  • At least (1) year of Sales experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate ability to be a team member.
  • Ability to market assertively, cultivate rapport through empathetic communication and foster positive relationships with customers, facilities, hospitals, and the community.
  • Demonstrate autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, creativity, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
  • Proficient in computer skills through Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Local travel is required for the position.

Responsibilities

  • Achievement of monthly goals for Hospice and Home Health.
  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral sources.
  • Completes Profiles on all assigned accounts and contacts on a timely basis.
  • Assists the referral source in addressing concerns.
  • Builds and monitors community and customer perceptions of Providence at Home as a high-quality provider of services.
  • Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of home care and hospice markets including key referral sources and competitor's market.
  • Aware of community resources and assists customers in accessing community resources should services not be provided by Providence at Home.
  • Meets deadlines for documentation and communication.
