About The Position

Account Executive – Hospice James River Home Health and Hospice is seeking a motivated Home Hospice Sales Representative / Account Executive to join our growing, locally owned team in the Prince William territory. In this role, you will develop strong relationships with referral sources, generate patient referrals, and serve as a patient advocate by working closely with intake and clinical teams to ensure a smooth, high-quality care experience. This is an opportunity for a driven professional who enjoys strategy, relationship building, and growing market share.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1+ year of successful experience in Home Healthcare, Business Development, or a related field
  • Proven success in business development, outreach, or a healthcare-related role
  • Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with healthcare professionals at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Forecast needs, establish priorities, and execute business strategies to drive growth and achieve sales revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians and referral sources by clearly communicating the value of high-quality patient care in the home.
  • Actively work to increase market share through referral growth and participation in James River’s programs, while collaborating closely with operational, clinical, and business development teams to ensure seamless communication of new referrals and patient progress.
  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan for your assigned territory
  • Conduct regular sales calls, liaison visits, and prospecting efforts to grow and maintain accounts.
  • Participate in sales meetings, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and support overall organizational goals, along with other duties as assigned.
