We are currently seeking a full time Hospice Aide to provide personal care services to our hospice patients. Schedule: Monday - Friday including rotating weekends; 8:30am - 5:00pm Location: Contra Costa County & some areas of Alameda County MUST HAVE HHA LICENSE Hope Hospice follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel.
Requirements
- Completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program.
- MUST HAVE HHA LICENSE
- Current California Driver’s License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospice or home health preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist patient in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed
- Assist patient in and out of bed and with ambulation
- Turn patient in bed, position for comfort, and change bed linen
- Assist with prescribed exercises as directed
