Job Overview The Design Specialist is responsible for working and learning alongside existing Landscape Designer Associates to bring their projects to life using a hands-on, detailed design approach.

Requirements

Minimum 2 year experience (can include internship)
All applicants must have a portfolio to be considered.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suites, and SketchUp
Excellent graphic skills with demonstrated work in your portfolio
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A working knowledge of local plant material preferred
Previous experience in Residential Landscape Architecture preferred

Responsibilities

Create detailed 3D renderings and image boards for use in Client Design Presentations
Conduct site inventory and analysis that includes: the assessment of soil conditions, lighting, the view, architecture, vegetation, and other existing conditions and inputting the information to create an accurate and complete Base Map
Assisting Senior Staff in producing Permits, Plans, Bid Sets, scheduling and ordering plants and materials for the job
Perform other job duties as assigned including assisting with preparation of bid documents/specifications, obtaining permit/jurisdictional approvals
