Primary Responsibilities: listed in order of priority Be the primary contact person in conjunction with the Territory Sales Rep for assigned accounts. Exceed customer expectations by living the company value proposition and core values. Assist customers in selecting plant material, fulfilling customer orders, loading of trucks, answering availability questions, quote requests, and tagging plants. Always present a good public image through your actions and conversations by promoting our quality product and exceptional service. Assist in inventory control and ordering plant material. Utilize the CRM tool to log and manage customer contacts and communications. Load and Unload trucks at the DC dock. Drive deliveries to customers when needed. Complete admin tasks of invoicing, answering phones, inventory requests, tagging, end of day operations as part of the DC Team. Train in the “GGOB” culture that supports the continuous development of improved communications and open book management. Encourage add on sales of additional products such as tools, mulch, tarps etc. Oversee assigned section of nursery and address areas of concern by returning crop action reports to the Store Manager or Grower. Safety - all employees are responsible for maintaining a safe workplace. Communicate safety issues to your supervisor immediately. Share ideas to improve safety. Engage, and participate in all proactive safety training. Accountability - understand the requirement to meet all timelines and expectations with a positive attitude. Engage with upper management and other staff members to develop a positive culture of accountability. GGOB – engage in all department and company huddles by actively listening to all information communicated. Interject ideas and questions during the huddles or workday regarding financial status and strategic direction of the department/company. Participate in efforts to develop a positive workplace culture and be actively engaged in your work. Brand Harmony – learn, understand, and live our brand with all internal and external customer interactions. Use core values every day.
