About The Position
This position will be located within the Northeast Region Department of Children and Families managing a Hope Navigation Unit. A Hope Navigator is a professional position responsible or helping clients access a wide variety of services and resources to achieve economic independence. Hope Navigators work with clients to identify and overcome barriers to economic self-sufficiency such as education, transportation, and employment. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This position requires face to face contact and travel throughout the community. This position is not eligible for Telecommuting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent (4 years) of experience in Social Services.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience supervising or leading a team of individuals.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience building relationships with community partners or resources.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience working in the Hope Florida program
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or equivalent experience (4 years) in Case management.
- Case management experience is defined as experience with conducting assessments, preparing plans, making referrals, implementing plans and follow up with monitoring and valuation of those plans.
