About The Position

With supervision, will perform general administrative duties and/or research functions for the purpose of developing a working knowledge of a specific area of study. Description of Duties and Tasks Ambassadors engage in recruitment and outreach activities at ACC campuses. They also develop liaisons with Student Services, maintain an active social media presence, conduct classroom presentations, generate videos and web content, host Honors events, staff college events, and support the HSO (Honors Student Organization).

  • Demonstrated proficiency with standard office software.
  • Must be current ACC Honors Program student
  • Must have taken at least one ACC Honors course
  • Work safely and follow safety rules.
  • Report unsafe working conditions and behavior.
  • Take reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices.

  • Full-time faculty and staff employees who work in full-time and/or part-time positions at the college are eligible for ACC medical benefits effective the first of the month after their first 60 days of employment.
