Overview: Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines. Job Description Summary: Provides general child and family advocacy, interventions, counseling support, and prevention services, as a part of a multidisciplinary team, for individuals and families at The Center For Family Safety and Healing. Job Description: Essential Functions: Advocates for children and their families, connecting them with the appropriate resources for their situation and assisting with coordination. Collaborates with families to develop service plans that incorporate their strengths, visions, goals, and priorities. Completes all required documentation and paperwork requirements in a competent, legible, and timely manner consistent with legal and agency policy or program mandates. Educates families on expected developmental milestones for their child and routine medical and health services. Ensures confidentiality of clients and complies with related hospital policies, federal and state regulations, and established program guidlines. Implements appropriate interventions and services to families, providing education, support, and problem solving. Utilizes appropriate developmental screening and assessment techniques.
