About The Position

The Homemaker provides essential housekeeping and companion services to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for clients in their homes. The Homemaker helps clients remain independent by assisting with household tasks and promoting a positive home atmosphere. The Homemaker works under the direction and supervision of the Designated Coordinator (DC) and in accordance with the individual’s care plan and agency policies.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Must successfully pass a criminal background study , including fingerprinting, as required by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS).
Must maintain current TB testing and demonstrate good physical and mental health.
Demonstrate a compassionate and caring attitude toward others.
Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully in both verbal and written form.
Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
Demonstrate dependability, integrity, and strong commitment to client service excellence.
Previous experience in home care, custodial, or housekeeping work preferred but not required.
