You will provide compassionate, client-centered care while assisting with daily living activities that support independence and dignity. As you monitor health and well-being, you'll build strong client relationships and ensure safety and comfort in their homes. Your role will also involve care documentation and adherence to HIPAA compliance and client safety protocols. Your day to day as a HMK/PCA As a Home Maker/Personal Care Assistant (HMK/PCA) at Guardian Angel Senior Services, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of personalized client care plans, actively communicating any changes with your team. Your responsibilities will include administering care as outlined in each plan, which encompasses preparing meals, assisting with feeding, and ensuring a neat, organized environment through housekeeping duties. You will also check supply levels, order necessary items, and assist clients with rehabilitation exercises and personal hygiene. In addition to providing essential transportation and running errands, you will arrange social activities and accompany clients on outings to foster engagement. Your role demands emotional support for clients and their families while maintaining confidentiality and providing accurate documentation of client records. Adhering to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment, is essential as you ensure client comfort and well-being at all times.
