In this role will assist in gathering, analyzing and presenting data and information to assist in the development and negotiation of housing policy recommendations for the Government Sponsored Entities (GSEs) – Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. This support will allow the Relationship Managers to be more strategic and effective in their communications with internal partners and the government agencies. Long term growth goals for the role include an in depth understanding of GSE policy, as well as development of relationship management skills. As the Relationship Manager II within Agency Relations, you will need to have the ability to collaborate with internal and external partners, develop executive communications, prioritize and drive key initiatives, and dissect policy, products, and programs. Additionally, the candidate will perform a regular cadence of tasks to support ongoing investor confidence, including digesting and analyzing reports and data, creating executive level presentations, researching policy and process questions, scheduling meetings, and providing periodic updates via decks and trackers. The candidate will need to collaborate with team members on strategic initiatives, product implementation, risk management, GSE policy, scorecards, and issue resolution. Candidates can be considered from varied backgrounds as long as the candidate is a quick learner, inquisitive, comfortable using data for storytelling and has strong collaboration and communication skills within varied levels of an organization. The ideal candidate will have a long term career goal of becoming a Relationship Manager within Agency Relations.
