About the Role: The Home Lending Systems Manager is responsible for managing the loan origination system, its interfaces with bankwide and investor systems, and the technology budget for the Home Lending Division. Manages the technical analysis, installation, maintenance and modification of loan origination software (LOS) and/or systems software. Determines best LOS and system software configuration ensuring software and hardware compatibility. Evaluates, recommends, and purchases new system or LOS software products. Oversees the installation, testing, and implementation of new system or LOS software and manufacturer’s releases and utilities. Ensures that all LOS and system specifications and procedures are documented. Manages data security and participates in change control management. Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes. About You: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. More than 10 years of experience successfully managing complex Mortgage Loan Origination Systems required. Encompass and ancillary systems required. Strong knowledge of Mortgage Products and Programs and the mortgage marketplace. Proven ability to effectively manage and develop others in a quantitative and operational process setting. Experience in developing, modifying, and executing Bank policies that affect Loan Origination Systems, division wide and may also have Bank-wide effect. Ability to manage teams in multiple locations. Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the Bank. Demonstrated accountability, dependability, initiative and an ability to effectively prioritize tasks to ensure optimal results. Proven ability to “think outside the box” when solving problems. Proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel. Prior management experience managing a team, hiring, and conducting performance evaluations required. Ability to train and present to small and large audiences or has the interest in learning to train and present. Travel Requirements Occasional The pay range for this role is $102,000.00 to $146,000.00. The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
