About The Position

As an Operations Senior Specialist III in the Home Lending Correspondent Division, you will perform a pre-wire quality review of mortgage loan files in the Chase Correspondent Operations channel. Loan files are reviewed for adherence to Chase policies and procedures for accuracy and completeness, prior to acquiring the loan. The review consists of validating information on mortgage loan documents and data entry into the system of record. Perform a review of data elements that are critical to loan salability as well as review of conditions and routing workflow throughout the funding process in order to meet or exceed the customer service expectations.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge around all legal and credit documents
  • Basic understanding of compliance, including Dodd Frank, RESPA, and TILA
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to consistently meet production standards while maintaining acceptable quality of work
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Highly motivated in production environment
  • 2 plus years of first mortgage file review experience
  • Accurate typing skills

Responsibilities

  • Receive and analyze legal and credit documentation
  • Validate the data integrity of documentation and data entry in the system of record.
  • Review completed work items to ensure accuracy, route to proper queues, and release wires.
  • Navigate efficiently through online procedures
  • Perform other operations support functions
  • Undertake responsibilities include cross-trained tasks related to operations support functions, such as generating reports.
