About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Home Lead Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role involves problem-solving and assisting customers to meet or exceed patient needs and safety standards. You will support pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications while maintaining professional interactions with customers, physicians, clinic staff, and facility staff.

Requirements

Pharmacy Technician certification with 2+ years of experience.
Strong customer service skills.
Proficiency with electronic pharmacy programs.
Experience in supporting customers over the phone.
Ability to problem-solve and be solutions-minded.

Nice To Haves

Must register with the State of Wisconsin as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
Interact professionally with customers, physicians, clinic staff, and facility staff.
Gather appropriate information to properly process a patient's prescription.
Maintain accurate records of medication and equipment dispensed to patients.
Accurately enter patient data into pharmacy software programs.
Ensure correct insurance information is entered into the system and claims are properly adjudicated.
Collaborate with co-workers, pharmacists, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
Secure protected health information and required paperwork.
Maintain sufficient prescription inventory levels when ordering products for the pharmacy.
Receive and store incoming products and supplies, including counting, stocking, and entering data into the computer.
