Job Summary Responsible for providing efficient and effective installation services for various technology and IT-related products in customers' homes. This role ensures the seamless setup and configuration of hardware and software, troubleshoots any technical issues, and provides exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Prior experience in IT installation, technical support, or a related field 2-3 years preferred
- Customer service work 1-2 years required
Responsibilities
- Installs and configures technology products.
- Ensures proper placement and connection of devices according to customer requirements and best practices.
- Identifies and resolves hardware and software issues encountered during installation or reported by customers.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots network connectivity problems, software conflicts, and other technical challenges.
- Interacts with customers in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the installation process.
- Documents installation procedures, configurations, and any issues encountered during the installation process.
- Stays up with the latest technological advancements and product features in the IT industry.
