About The Position

The Visiting Nurse Association is seeking a Home Maker to engage and create personal connections with our clients while making their living environment comfortable, safe and enjoyable. During each work shift, the Homemaker spends time completing general household work that could include (but is not limited to) assisting the client with light dusting around objects, vacuuming, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, laundry, and maintaining bathrooms to provide a safe, sanitary home for each client we serve. You don’t have to be a gourmet chef but you might also prepare a good meal, work your way around a kitchen and run to the grocery store, if needed. Requirements

High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate
Compassionate and sympathetic attitude with a sincere desire to help others while meeting the demands of the job
Read, write, speak, and understand English with or without reasonable accommodations as needed for the job
Able to lift at least 35 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
Current and valid driver’s license, clean driving record and be able to safely operate a vehicle
