We’re looking for a Home Health Office Coordinator to support our branch operations, manage key documentation workflows, and ensure our team stays efficient, compliant, and focused on delivering excellent care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Strong organization, documentation, and time management skills
  • Ability to switch tasks efficiently and maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Clear and professional oral and written communication skills
  • Maturity, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset when interacting with coworkers, leadership, and field staff
  • Comfort using standard office software and systems
  • Reliable transportation required for occasional work-related travel

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, especially with medical records or clinical support
  • Experience in home health, hospice, or healthcare compliance
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and EMR systems
  • Familiarity with scheduling, insurance verification, or patient intake workflows

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Administrator or Executive Director to support the branch’s day-to-day non-clinical operations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including obtaining missing documentation and signatures from physicians and care providers.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to support timely admissions and ensure chart completeness.
  • Participate in the branch’s Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
  • Manage the appropriate release of information from Home Health to outside entities in compliance with regulations.
  • Assist with general office administration including filing, scheduling, phones, documentation management, and communication support.
  • Perform a variety of tasks that may change based on branch census or leadership needs.
  • Operate standard office equipment, including computers, fax machines, copiers, and communication tools.
