Home Health LPN - M-F day shift, flexible schedule
About The Position
Looking for nursing that fits your life, not the other way around? Hillcrest Home Care is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality, compassionate care in patients’ homes with schedules built around you. Open to full-time, part-time or PRN! As a Home Health LPN, you’ll provide direct nursing care in the home under the supervision of an RN case manager. You’ll work alongside a supportive, experienced interdisciplinary team including nurses, rehab professionals, and CNAs. Prior home health or home visit experience is preferred, but not required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active LPN license in Nebraska or a Nurse Licensure Compact state
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Comfortable with basic computer and laptop use
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior home health or home visit experience
Responsibilities
- Delivering skilled nursing care in the home setting
- Supporting patients with catheter care, wound care, and IV therapy (experience a plus)
- Communicating effectively with the RN case manager and care team
- Promoting patient safety, comfort, and independence
