About The Position

Cornerstone Home Health seeks a full-time Director to run a small private-pay agency nestled within Cornerstone Retirement Community. The agency currently has 30+ dedicated staff serving residents at Cornerstone and other clients within the general vicinity of Texarkana and surrounding areas. Cornerstone Home Health Services is licensed by the State for Home Health Services (LHHS) and Personal Assistant Services (PAS). The Home Health Director will direct all day-to-day office/clinical/staffing operations. Candidates must be highly organized, detail oriented and possess effective communication skills both orally and in writing. A fair understanding of the issues related to the delivery of home health care services and the ability to problem solve is a must. Although the position has a standard Monday-Friday 8-5 schedule, candidates must be willing to be on-call for urgent health and safety issues. Last, but certainly not least, candidates must have a passion to provide clients and family members with excellent service and then appreciate and reward staff who do deliver it.

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse
• Home health experience in a leadership role preferred
• Strong understanding of home health (PAS) rules and regulations, serving as Agency Administrator
• Knowledge of OASIS requirements
• Must be able to understand financial implications of decisions
• Know how to successfully grow case volume
