Puget Sound Home Health is seeking an experienced part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for Pierce County! Requirements

  • Licensed to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) within Washington state (or before your first day of work).
  • One to two years of appropriate experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Possesses and maintains current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver occupational therapy treatments per the OT’s care plan.
  • Assist patients with ADLs to improve independence.
  • Instruct patients and caregivers on exercises and equipment use.
  • Document visit notes accurately and timely in the EMR.
  • Communicate patient progress and concerns to the OT.
  • Collaborate with the care team to support patient goals.
  • Recommend home safety modifications and fall prevention strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and agency standards.
