Puget Sound Home Health is seeking an experienced part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for Pierce County! Requirements
- Licensed to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) within Washington state (or before your first day of work).
- One to two years of appropriate experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) .
- Possesses and maintains current BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy treatments per the OT’s care plan.
- Assist patients with ADLs to improve independence.
- Instruct patients and caregivers on exercises and equipment use.
- Document visit notes accurately and timely in the EMR.
- Communicate patient progress and concerns to the OT.
- Collaborate with the care team to support patient goals.
- Recommend home safety modifications and fall prevention strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and agency standards.
