About The Position

All About Home Care is a Houston-based home health care agency. We have been serving Houston and the surrounding communities since 2003, providing quality home health services. We are currently seeking a Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant to serve patients in Spring, The Woodlands, Conroe, and surrounding areas. If you have experience in home health and are interested in covering this area, please submit your resume. We use Kinnser software to document patient care.

Requirements

  • Have a sympathetic attitude towards the care of the sick.
  • Be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Be able to carry out directions.
  • Show a high level of maturity and be able to deal effective with demands of the job.
  • Not be listed in the Nurse Aide Registry for misconduct.
  • Not convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor as evidence by a criminal history check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and effective care to the sick and elderly.
  • Takes accurate temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
  • Performs simple procedures as an extension of the therapy service as directed.
  • Follows Universal Precautions and washes hands before and after the care of each patient.
  • Completes all work assignments, turns notes in as required by Agency policy.
  • Understands and adheres to established policies and procedures of the Agency.
  • Adheres to Agency standards and consistency interprets and accurately performs all assigned responsibilities.
  • Maintains acceptable attendance status.
  • Reports incomplete work assignments to the RN.
  • Appearance is clean and well groomed.
  • Demonstrates effective time management skills through daily documentation.
  • Attends position related in-service, case conferences, and staff meetings.
  • Attends all mandatory in-service programs as scheduled.
  • Receives a minimum of 12 hours of in-service per calendar year (based on date of employment).
  • Maintains clean and neat work environment.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and decision making.
  • Coordinates care with RN and reports changes in the patient’s condition.
  • Maintains current CPR.
  • Participates in the Agency’s QAPI meetings.
